Cottage Food Disclosure

1. Home Kitchen Operation

All products offered by Kenzie Kate's Baked Goods are homemade and produced in a home kitchen. This kitchen is not licensed as a commercial food establishment and has not been inspected by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture or any other regulatory agency.

2. South Carolina Cottage Food Law

Our baked goods are made and sold under the South Carolina Cottage Food Law. This law allows the production of certain non-potentially hazardous foods in a home kitchen for direct sale to consumers within South Carolina.

Cottage food products may not be sold for resale, through retail stores, or across state lines. All sales are direct to the end consumer.

3. Cottage Food Product Labels

Each cottage food product we sell is labeled with the information required by South Carolina law, including:

• The name and address of the cottage food operation
• The common or usual name of the product
• The ingredients of the product, listed in descending order of predominance by weight
• The net weight or net volume of the product
• The date the product was produced
• The following statement: "Not for Resale — Processed and prepared without state inspection."
• Any major food allergens present in the product

4. Allowed Cottage Food Products

We offer baked goods and other items that qualify as non-potentially hazardous foods under South Carolina law. These are foods that do not require time or temperature control for safety. Our menu items are limited to products permitted for cottage food production.

5. Sales Are Direct to Consumers

All orders are placed directly with Kenzie Kate's Baked Goods and are fulfilled for personal use only. We do not sell to wholesalers, retailers, or other businesses for resale. Orders are fulfilled by pickup or local delivery as described on our order page.

6. Not for Resale

Products sold by Kenzie Kate's Baked Goods are intended for personal consumption only and are not labeled, packaged, or sold for resale. Any redistribution or resale of our products is prohibited.

7. No Warranty or Guarantee

While we take care to follow safe food handling practices and comply with the South Carolina Cottage Food Law, our products are prepared in a home kitchen. We make no warranty or guarantee beyond what is required by applicable law.
